Positive: I stayed at this hotel for one night and had mixed feelings about my experience. The first impression was great—the lobby is beautiful and very welcoming. The check-in staff were friendly, and my room was ready at 1:00 PM, which I really appreciated. We were also offered welcome drinks, and the staff kindly gave my child an extra cup because they noticed how much he enjoyed it. The room itself was beautiful, with a lovely view. Breakfast was also delicious with a good variety of options. Negative: Although the room was beautiful, there were several areas that appeared dusty and not as clean as expected. While many of the breakfast staff were very friendly and attentive, a few seemed to have an unfriendly attitude. Another issue was the smell in the hallway outside my room. As soon as the elevator doors opened on the day I checked in, there was a noticeable musty odor. This was disappointing and not something I would expect from a five-star hotel.

This hotel is, without question, one of the truly great hotels of the world. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how stunningly beautiful the property is — every detail thoughtfully designed, every space elegant yet welcoming. The service was exceptional: professional, polished, and genuinely kind. The staff anticipated needs before we even had to ask, yet everything felt effortless and never intrusive. The executive lounge was excellent too. The atmosphere was wonderfully quiet and serene, creating a sense of complete escape. The food was outstanding — beautifully prepared, delicious, and worthy of the setting. A highlight of our stay was the private Rolls Royce tour, which was simply excellent and added an unforgettable touch to an already extraordinary experience. This is truly one of the best hotels I have ever visited anywhere in the world.

Wow, what can I saw This place is amazing. From the outside the tall building that lights up at night. Then you walk inside and the interior.is over the top. Truly a "Wow" experience... Everywhere you walk is amazing even the elevators... Luxurious rooms, large bathrooms, clean and comfortable. The Breakfast buffet has so many items to chose from, you could eat all three in one sitting.... Great staff making you feel welcomed and did everything to make your stay enjoyable. Most definitely will come back on our next trip.

We almost didn’t book The Reverie Saigon because the photos made it look a little over the top for our taste, but the excellent reviews and central D1 location convinced us to try it - and we’re very glad we did. We stayed in a Panorama Room with incredible views overlooking Nguyen Hue Walking Street. From arrival to departure, the service was exceptional and the staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable. As we were celebrating our anniversary, our room was beautifully decorated on arrival, and later that evening a bottle of wine and sweets were delivered, which was a lovely surprise and made for a special first night in HCM. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed, with thoughtful touches including his-and-hers sinks, a heated toilet seat, and luxurious Frette linens. Evening turndown included chocolates each night, which was another small detail we really appreciated. The hotel itself is stunning. While the décor is certainly opulent, it feels elegant rather than overwhelming, and there is something beautiful to notice in every corner. The tile work and marble finishes are incredible. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide buffet selection as well as an à la carte menu for additional made-to-order dishes. All of the staff here from check-in, to breakfast, and even the doormen, were friendly, welcoming and always had a smile for us. After exploring the city in the heat of HCM, Reverie Saigon was a luxurious haven to return to each day. We would happily stay here again and would absolutely return on our next visit to Ho Chi Minh City.

We stayed at the Reverie for 3 days as part of a retirement/65th birthday for my husband. I have very mixed emotions about the hotel. After we spent a few hours in the room we asked to be moved to another room as there was a very strong musty order, the room was very damp, even under the bed covers. We also got a headache and sore throats immediately. The front desk was very helpful to find us another room. The first room we looked at still had a musty smell but finally we found one that was suitable. We stayed here for 3 days and although the room didn’t have an odour we still were contested and had sore throats for the remainder of our stay while spending time in the room. Oddly enough when we left the room for the day our symptoms cleared up. Onto the positives. The bed, and linens were the nicest I’ve ever slept in, so luxurious! The toiletries were very high quality. The breakfast was part buffet and part a la Carte and everything was excellent. The staff were all very friendly, only complaint was trying to be upsold upon checkin to a more expensive room and not being offered a welcome drink. We’ve stayed at 3 star hotels in SE Asia that offer welcome drinks! All in all our stay was ok at the Reverie but because of the hassle with the room I’m doubtful if we will return.
